What is required for DIMAS?
The DIMAS Medical Examination is a mandatory health screening for individuals applying for temporary or permanent residency, work permit, or student visas in Aruba.
On the “Temporary Admission Aruba’ (VTA) form, the applicants receive information that he/ she must report to a physician approved by the Directorate of Public Health (DVG) for a mandatory medical screening.
- Physical examination and consultation
- Laboratory tests (HIV, Hepatitis C a/o B, and Syphilis)
- Chest X-ray
- Tuberculoses (TB) test
Note: TB test requires a 48-72 hour follow-up and is done via the Dept. of Infectious Disease (DBZ). We provide all referrals.
For the completion of the DIMAS immigration screening, a valid passport with the “Provisional Admission Aruba” letter, are required to conduct medical services and other laboratory testing.

Step 3: Same Day Results & Documents
Your reports and forms are prepared and ready on the same day – after we receive your TB results, we will start submission in the Digital DIMAS Medical Platform, and inform you when this has been finalized.
